The 9 & Under and the 10-16 age groups will find the answers they seek by finding the correct ice sculptures.  The ADULT Hunt will be a POP CULTURE hunt with the answers also found in the ice sculptures! Once you have completed your form\, you can turn it in at the Coyle Free Library 102 N. Main or Here’s Looking at You\, 123 S. Main. All entries with the correct answers will go into a drawing that will take place Sunday at 3 at Here’s Looking at You. $150 CASH PRIZE for the winning entry drawn for the adults and awesome gift certificates for the two kids’ age groups.\nScavenger Hunt forms will be available here starting Thursday\, January 29 at 5pm! SUMMARY:2026 Run Your Ice Off 5K - CANCELED
DESCRIPTION:Run Your Ice Off 5k is one of the final events of IceFest on Sunday\, 2/1/2026. The course goes through downtown and onto our beautiful rail trail. RYIO is a fun way to end the 4-day ice festival as you run or walk your winter blues away! Well-behaved pets are always invited to join us! RYIO proceeds support IceFest\, the LFC Alumni Scholarship Fund\, and area nonprofits. \n 2026 Run Your Ice Off 5K  – RACE CANCELED DUE TO WEATHER  \n   \nDue to hazardous racecourse conditions and low temperatures\, the Run Your Ice Off 5K scheduled for Sunday\, February 1\, 2026\, has regretfully been canceled. \nThe safety of our participants\, volunteers\, and emergency personnel is always our top priority. After carefully reviewing current conditions and weather forecasts\, we determined that holding the event would pose unnecessary risk. As part of IceFest\, this fundraising event will not be rescheduled\,  and registrations are not transferable or refundable. \nParticipants who registered with a race shirt can pick it up this weekend.  Those who came in after the early deadline may have the opportunity to receive a race shirt at no extra cost during pick-up times on a first-come\, first-served basis. \nAll participants will be entered into a random drawing for $350+ in gift cards and for a chance to win one of our 80 unique RYIO race medals. A list of winners will be emailed by Thursday afternoon\, so you are aware that there is a prize awaiting you! \nPick up day/times at the Heritage Center\, 100 LWE\, downtown Chambersburg: \n\nFriday\, January 30| 6:00–8:00 PM\nSaturday\, January 31| 9:00 AM–12:00 PM\n Sunday\, February 1| 11:00 AM–1:00 PM\n\nAlso on Sunday\, 2/1\, we will be offering the community hot chocolate\, coffee\, and cookies to celebrate what would have been our race day – please stop by.
